Bioinsektisida Bt field research under the trade name Batindo +1 WP against the target pest Cocoa Pod Borer (CPB) (Conopomorpha cramerella) attacks have been carried out in endemic areas (Village Halo Amahai District of Central Maluku District) in November 2007 – April 2008 (adjusting the availability of fruit cocoa in the field). As a comparison was mopped WP which has long been on the market. he results summarized as follows. Compared with controls, Batindo +1 WP significantly reduce the population, the attack rate, and loss of dry cocoa beans yields due to pest attacks CPB. At the same concentration (2.5 g I I) +1 WP Batindo effectiveness in pest control CPB mopped relatively similar to WP. With a concentration of 2.5 g II, WP +1 Batindo tend to be more superior than mopped payers in increased yield of cocoa beans dried (WP +1 Batindo mopped 39.90 percent compared to 35.11 percent WP). Batindo fitotoksik +1 WP is not to plant cocoa. For the purposes of commercial applications Batindo +1 WP against the target pests on cocoa EAPs are advised to use a concentration of 2.5 g I I. Execution of applications Batindo +1 WP suggested at the time the sun is not, after at 15.00 local time.
